All the Broken Hearts identifies the role of contemporary media and questions whether religious principles, such as holding images is relevant today, in addition to the notion that as people we are all responsible for acts of terror, wherever they are perpetrated.
While children may be able carry out violent acts, in relation to an extremist ideology, in particular, in countries where a rule of law is not observed, it is the recruitment of adults that allows radicalisation to occur.
While adults may be able to recruit youth with a violent agenda, first they must be conditioned in the ways of the sword, whilst allowing hatred to be instilled, as well as bear a wanton desire to inflict pain on those perceived as having caused a people suffering or who have otherwise offended a religion.
As with any ideology, there is always someone willing to espouse and even more people wanting to listen, with the promise of salvation or fulfillment of some earthly or heavenly desire, which is not supplanted by education, or social development.
